Horvat's Philosophy

Philosophically, my aim is to make wine in the most down to earth, hands-on way possible. Only in this way, I believe I can funnel the greatest character, personality and quality into the bottle. A great work of art should be the result, and like great art or music, it will give us pleasure. Beer is for thirst, wine is for pleasure.

Using this pohilosophy, Garbriel has built his winery to hand craft his single vineyard wines from grapes sourced from around the Western Central Highlands of Victoria, and to run his wine bar and music venue that follows the same rule, to use only the best local musicians to create that special evening.

Enjoy wines made by your host, Gabriel Horvat, plus a large cellar of local drops, boutique beers, cheeses and bar snacks. Gourmet pizza is now available until late. Entry is always free.
